Synopsis
The Maine School Administrative District (MSAD) #60 is the school district covering the towns of Berwick, North Berwick and Lebanon in Southern Maine, USA. At the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak, MSAD #60 had to quickly find a way to deploy a work-from-home solution for their administration, to continue to support more than 3,000 students.
Since they have multiple buildings and several phone numbers at the office, as well as an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system, they needed a solution which would allow all their administrative staff to work from home using just a cellphone or a computer. Installing IP phones was not feasible and all set up needed to take place remotely. MSAD #60 worked with VoIP.ms, who provided a cloud-based PBX and suggested Bria Teams by CounterPath as the softphone application.
