CounterPath Corporation (“CounterPath” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: CPAH) (TSX: PATH), a global provider of award-winning, over-the-top (OTT) Unified Communications (UC) solutions for enterprises and carriers, today announced an expanded partnership with Telegate, a Sydney-based Business VoIP Telephone Provider for Hosted PBX Technology to deliver Bria Stretto subscription services.
Telegate has been a longtime customer of CounterPath’s Bria and Stretto provisioning solution targeting at small to medium sized enterprises (SME’s). The expanded partnership now includes CounterPath’s Stretto Platform modules:
- User Metrics – enables Telegate to better manage its deployments with near real-time calling data that characterizes the quality and reliability of the end user experience.
- Help Desk Assistant – provides a seamless way for Telegate support staff to assist customers in the field by enabling the ability to access technical calling data and the ability to perform live wire traces. The combination of user metrics and help desk assistant make it more efficient and effective in solving technical issues quickly and reliably.
- Messaging & Presence – delivers a streamlined user experience across all their communication devices.
“As businesses move to an anywhere, anytime workplace with team-based communication, the choices and options available seem to be endless,” said Todd Carothers, EVP of Sales and Marketing at CounterPath. “By partnering with Telegate, we have developed a solution that is highly differentiated from other offerings in the market.”
Telegate is part of the $28 million newly established CommsChoice Group. CommsChoice made its debut on the Australian stock exchange (ASX) in December with a vision to disrupt the enterprise unified communications market with leading cloud-based solutions.

CounterPath’s Bria and Stretto is aligned with Telegate’s strategy to manage customer communications easily and efficiently across the desktop, smartphone or tablet.
